Comment: I'm living in Lyon, but originally from Bradford and I've suffered for 18 years with depression and anxiety. I only got a computer 3 months ago and your site has been very useful in helping me find a way through the blackness. I can't say how grateful I am.

Comment: Doctoral students here at Wingate University in the US will be asked to network (via e-mail) with real people with real medical challenges. What we hope to effect is an understanding of just what it is like to have a medical condition -- the human side of medical problems, not just the drug treatments. Would you be willing to carry on an e-mail exchange with one of our students here in the US? Your identity could be anonymous. - Dr. Robert B. Supernaw (supernaw@wingate.edu)

Comment: It's good to find a local site that deals with these issues so I don't feel so alone. I'm a mum of three and I've suffered on and off from depression since age 11 and selfharmed too. I thought my depression was finally gone but recently I'm not so sure. I suffered from severe panic disorder 3.5 years ago and over came that in about a year. It is now back and worse than ever. Reading other peoples comments gives me hope. Thanks.

Comment: I'm grateful for the information on your site - it has helped me to better understand what I've been experiencing (OCD), and the links have proven invaluable. I have printed the prayer of serenity from the articles pages. It helps to remind me I'm doing OK. Thanks.

Comment: I've just been through a terrible time, I lost a mother and then had my university exams to sit. I had the rest of my family around me and friends, but I still felt so alone. The info on your site helped me realise I wasn't alone and for that i'me very grateful. Thank you. Knowing others cared, even though they don't know me has been very reassuring. I'm sure it helped me cope.

Comment: I suffer from severe OCD and it cripples me everyday. I have recieved great help and advice from my councelor and group therapy. I also practice martial arts which help bring me into the present. But still I cannot think straight or act when faced with the thoughts and compulsions that involve a very emotional and very obsessive connection to my ex-girlfriend. She loves and cares for me but I can't stop obsessing about her and the right thing to do and I always end up upsetting or emotionally hurting her everytime we talk. So now we don't talk at all. This is not me and I can't stop. I always feel like a coward and that is what makes me do or say crazy things, but they always backfire. This is my biggest challenge yet because it involves someone very close to my heart and has triggered all my OCD symptoms and I really need help very badly. Thats all.
